Take your point about the confidence factor Glos - missing 4 in a row is piss poor. But the great thing is STFC are moving on, none of the new guys we've bought could play tonight which would have made a difference. I may be an arse but I'm still feeling the wave of relief that Fitton has taken over, the old lot have gone and we stand a chance of getting our club back. Bangkok was right, we should have won this the first time round or failing that in the 90 minutes when we missed about 5 chances and their goalie made 2 great saves. This time next year we'll have a much better team, a properly run club with a set of accounts that bear scrutiny from anyone, no debt and hopefully plans for a better ground. Barnet gave us a lesson this tie, 4th round 2 years running is no fluke. We are missing out on big exciting games and big money for the club. I cant believe the penalties. What a sickener. They ensured they got a poor reception from our support for that. We were unlucky in the game, there were so many shots/chances. The lads worked their arses off saturday, and some players were suffering (Peacock, Ifil, McGovern all had heavy legs). Its mad when you get two games in 4 days, and both leave you with completely different emotions. Our fans didnt get up for it either.
