anyway am I the only one who picked up on the rather aggressive tone of it? Quote The Board of STFC would like to categorically state that there is no truth whatsoever in reports published in today's Western Daily Press that names Simon Arber as a potential investor in the football club. Mr Arber's name was first linked to the club on various internet forums and has been repeated by the Western Daily Press without any clarification or confirmation from the club. This is not the first time that statements that have started life as pure rumour or conjecture on websites have been repeated by the media. Today's report is misleading to Swindon Town supporters and the club will advise fans of any update with regards to potential investment via the club's official website when appropriate. oooh you're in trouble RobT! The journo who wrote that piece is pretty professional (certainly compared to some of those slating him) and there's no way he'd have written it solely based on stuff on internet forums. That might have been where they first got the name from, but he'll have had something more solid to back it up with. Are they intent on starting some kind of war with all the local media?
