well Nicho wears an Orange tie so he gets my vote

and mine

Vincent's just a steady eddie in my opinion, he does nothing that stands out but must do the basics well, which I suppose Sturrock wants.

Whereas Nicho does some things really well, but might make the odd mistake.

I must agree though, I do prefer to see Nicho in the starting 11.

Vincent gets my vote because:

1. It will agravate the nicho mafia. hopefully

2. Vincent is the only player I can remember who has completed a hattrick of stand clearing hoofs in one game. (Walsall) Kudos to him for that achievment.

3. Nicho wears orange and is therefore a communist sympathiser

4. errrr, nicho is scouse

vincent loses his man constantly and allows them onto the wrong side of him, did it at least three times on saturday.

if he crosses the halfway line, he stops, looked petrified and goes backwards.

nicho is solid defensively - most of the time - but a far better attacking option so he gets my vote.

depends, both have very different qualities for left backs.

Vincent is generally quite solid defensivly apart from when someone is running at him.

Nicholas is much better attacking than Vincent but probably not as solid defensivly.

Depends who we are playing and how much defending Sturrock think we'll need to do.

Anyway Nicholas was cack at Mansfield (he wasnt alone) and he hasnt started since and we've won the last 2!

very different players, sturrock likes a solid back four, so think vincent is better as isnt running upfield, he leaves that to the wingers and we dont get caught out

id say vincent has got a better cross than nicholas aswell.

Who would have thought Nico would have gone on to be our longest serving first team player!

Vincent hasn't got many seasons left in him, Nico certainly has... Both can be good one week and terrible the next.

thats just not true. Vincent is rubbish, I hate him.

I've still not forgiven Vincent for continually backing off the Boston player who ran in from the touchline and allowing him to wham in their equaliser in the 90th minute.

So yes Nicho is better on the basis he's not a cunt.

Nicholas, solid defender and good goign forward. Also good in the air unlike Vincent.

Depends, on the whole they both offer different things.

I think they're both good defenders, and Nicho offers us more going forward, but Vincent is safety-first and makes less mistakes.

When Nicho is bad he's very bad.....in fact he gets a form of the yips whereby he loses the ability to kick a ball any distance with any accuracy.  Vincent although being generally bad doesn't plumb the same depths....so is therefore steadier....view the ball to Roberts on Sat as an example of the reliabilty  of his left peg,

everyone seems to know vincents weak point, and most attacking wingers use this, cutting inside across the body of vincent is when he struggles to defend. Nicho all the way for me

I'd much rather view the first time pass from Nicho that he floats 40 yards over the Morecambe defence pinpoint onto the chest of the front man deep in their box. Lukas doesn't get the penalty without that ball.

 Although , at the time "in the arms of Morpheus" I'll hazard a guess that Nicho was aiming for a ball into the channel, which inadvertantly ennded up,with Lukas.  That's the Bristol Channel.

Vincent was superb today i thought, when easter tried playin on him he didnt get a sniff, didnt beat vincent once. top game, was suprised as ive always prefered nicho as well

Didnt say i support the board just not too sure about the trust taking over, and would prefer us to stick with the board till a better alternative comes along

I think Nicho has been unfairly criticised in the past, but I think Vincent has looked solid in some of the games I've seen tis season.

Hate to repeat what others have said but it really does depend if you want options going forward or if you want to be more solid at the back
