Title: Byfield Post by: Johno on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 22:44:48 abit pointless really. was funny to see the gills fans too...there reaction that is.
Title: Byfield Post by: DV on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 22:45:15 Quote from: "sonicyouth" the cunt got me kicked out at gillingham, tonight was a little bit of revenge for me. :o welcome back sir honestly who writes this crap http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/4703594.stm Swindon 1-0 Gillingham Jamie Cureton scored his third goal in five starts to earn Swindon a win which lifts them out of the bottom four. Cureton ended 10-man Gills' four-match unbeaten run with a stunning winner. Lee Peacock flicked on Swindon keeper Rhys Evans' clearance before Cureton lobbed the ball over Jason Brown with a superb half-volley from 18 yards. Gills' hopes of getting back into it were ended when Darren Byfield was controversially sent off for heading the ball out of Rhys Evans' hands. ? Title: Byfield Post by: Johno on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 22:54:43 how dare he do that! well he did do that i guess....wasn't sent off for it though obviously!
Title: Byfield Post by: DV on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 22:55:50 Quote from: "Johno" how dare he do that! well he did do that i guess....wasn't sent off for it though obviously! Evans caught the ball and byfield deliberatly, jumped into him, hitting him and making no effort to get the ball....hardly what the report describes Title: Byfield Post by: Johno on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 23:03:06 i know, i agree with you. he did knock the ball out of his hands though. Thats all im saying.
im not defending that report of the match :soapy tit wank: Title: Byfield Post by: Sade on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 23:04:46 He deserved it. Silly Weasel. Was funny as he was walking off, I looked around and it was hilarious to see everyone waving! Even ricky shakes mum was!
:D Title: Byfield Post by: Johno on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 23:05:56 'silly weasel' brilliant. its like when people say 'flipping sponge' as an insult or is that just me?
Title: Byfield Post by: Melksham Red on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 23:08:15 Justice was done. Their keeper should have been sent.
Title: Byfield Post by: swindonbob on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 23:12:27 That was easily the most worthless way to get sent off ive ever seen! Byfield was never ever gonna reach it, and while Rhys had it in his arms he just lunged at him!
I reckon what sealed him getting sent off was when he pelted the ball in the net anyway! Title: Byfield Post by: Leggett on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 06:02:44 byfield can now officially fuck off and die of aids in some field somewhere. and their keeper too, cheating pikey cunts.

Title: Byfield Post by: Supercake2 on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 09:57:01 on the subject of sending off's...do you think the keeper should have gone? for the handball outside the area.
Title: Byfield Post by: my-velocity on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:12:20 Evans could have got seriously injured from that barge, Byfield deserved sending off. Then before that, the keeper should have been sent off because he handled out the area.
If the Everton Keeper (Turner) on the weekend gets sent of in the premiership, then Gills keeper should have been sent off in league 1. So fukin inconsistent Title: Byfield Post by: Piemonte on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:19:51 By the letter of the law thier keeper was right to only get a yellow.
Defenders were covering him and it wasnt a clear goalscoring opportunity in my view. Title: Byfield Post by: fatbury on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:30:03 Fully deserved red card .. who the hell did Byfield think he was? Prat!
Title: Byfield Post by: DMR on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:38:42 Hahahaha I pissed myself, it was so inevitable he'd get sent off and he nearly cried.
Ark nnow hear, the Swindon sing... Title: Byfield Post by: RappersDelight on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:54:03 was i the only one who saw byfield grab evans by the neck?
Title: Byfield Post by: reeves4england on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:54:07 Quote from: "Piemonte" By the letter of the law thier keeper was right to only get a yellow. Exactly correct. There is no rule which dictates handball is a red card. Why can't people understand that!!!Defenders were covering him and it wasnt a clear goalscoring opportunity in my view. It is only a red card if it is a CLEAR GOALSCORING OPPERTUNITY. How is being stuck to the by-line with a keeper challenging and defenders covering a clear goalscoring oppertunity? Well done referee on that one. The referee at Everton got it wrong. There was a man covering. That doesn't mean our referee should automatically get it wrong to "make it fair" Title: Byfield Post by: reeves4england on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 10:54:38 PS Byfield = cunt

Title: Byfield Post by: DV on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 14:26:33 I think the ref was right NOT to send the keeper off, he just lost his bearings a bit, didnt pick up the ball just controled it with his hand, if he hadnt he still would have controled it with his foot and kicked it off before any of our players got near him. I dont think the handball gave him any advantage
Title: Byfield Post by: SwindonTownFC on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 17:40:26 no advantage?? he took the ball off Shakes boot!!!
Title: Byfield Post by: Tails on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 17:47:18 Yeah but what was Shakes gonna do from there?

Title: Byfield Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 19:43:51 he is shit thats why! as for the keeper it should have been a yellow so the ref got it right
