i remember the original football manager on the amstrad. the hours i would waste playing the game/waiting for the game to load off the tape  8)

 Ah but if you chopped the trees with the rusty axe, one of them fell down...which was sooooo exciting.

 And if you climbed the tree, you got a view.

 And if you climbed in the stump, you entered a strange subterranean world,  which you needed to light with an Alladin's lamp....if you went down the wrong hole though you ended up in Limbo or the Devil got you. :twisted:

that's Q2 though, Quake was lame because it was too fast and argh and stuff. Q2 had the railgun :-)
