Recall a dank November day in the old second tier....we'd had a bit of a poor trot the Saddlers were struggling, crowd down to 5200, with a lot of moaners about Macari, not being at matches and leaving it to Chic Bates. Still the hard core loyalists were to see a goal from Stigger Foley, sneak a one nil despite Digby having to pull out a couple of wonder saves to keep out former Shots striker Dale Banton....who'd been played in by Howard Pritchard. Saddlers went down we went onto the PO's.....Macari left for West Ham. Can't see us getting as many as 5200 on Tuesday, but maybe we're due a win. Title: Walsall....
