Best £20 I ever spent.

A loss would have been season over. A draw was not good enough.

If I'd backed us and we'd fucked it up it would have piled on the misery. As it is I'm £20 down (which was won at poker last night anyway) and In a very very good mood.

Now I'm going out to get wasted.

Never back your own team. 3 years managing a boookies taught be that loyalty can seriously affect rational decision making.

(Or at least that's what I thought as endless scousers threw their money away backing Liverpool to win the Champions League last season)
