This is ( was) my rabbit ollie  8)  

He is now 6 feet under behind the back of my dads shed though, he got maggots in the summer and died  :(  he was fabalous though, he used to play footy and everything.

I want to get a new pet but I don't know what to get. Something easy to look after. and not goldfish because their food stinks.

Yep it is my rabbit, he looks quite similar to Ollie.

 Rabbits are good to eat....bit of a neglected food source really as they're relatively easy to keep and.. breed.....well, like rabbits.

 Also you can make clothes out of the fur.

 The Normans were big on rabbit eating and medieval England abounded with warrens or sometimes called pillow mounds which were used for keeping rabbits for food....on Kilpeck church in Herefordshire, can be found the oldest  representation of the bunny in England

i ate a rabbit paella on tuesday for lunch, it was lush, my sister who is a vegetarian sang bright eyes whilst i stuffed my face, it didnt put me off.

 Here's a recipe for fried Guiea Pig

    Fried Guinea Pig (Ayacucho-style)

1 guinea pig, de-haired, gutted, and cleaned

1/2 c. flour

1/4 - 1/2 t. ground cumin

salt and black pepper to taste

1/2 c. oil

Pat dry the skin of the guinea pig and rub in the cumin, salt, and pepper. Preheat oil. Dust the carcass with the flour and place it on its back in the oil, turning to cook both sides. Alternately, the guinea pig can be cut and fried in quarters.

Serve with boiled potato or boiled manioc root, and a salad of cut tomatoes and slivered onions bathed in lime juice and a bit of salt. Have cold beer on hand.

Yes oxford fan, he got maggots and he was in alot of pain  :(  He got sorted out and everything but when we brought him home he was shaking all the time and would'nt eat anything, and the vet told us he was in shock and may never recover and he did'nt.  that was the end of ollie  :)  god rest his sole.

a rabbit ain't a pet btw, a dog is a proper pet.  8)

get a rat sade, they're supposed to be excellent pets. and don't just think of a dirty rodent eating poo, apparently the house ones are very clean and charismatic

i just bought a tropical fish setup and lots of fish. i can heartily recommend fish, most relaxing. the mrs is currently feigning a migraine, so no food for me, but the fish made me realise...something. i think it took my mind off it tbh

spot on bennett, when i've got a proper house and stuff i'm going to have a nice fish tank with lots of colourful chaps in. i don't know anything about them but they look pretty.

do they make a fish tank you dont need to clean? i'd want that one.

i guess you could always buy a new one and tip it all in, or pay someone else to clean it

I actually am scared of dogs. Last year I got chased by a great dane  :(  It was so big like a horse and it looked like it was going to bight me but I hid in a bush and all my friends were laughing at me. But now I am also finding myself being scared of smaller dogs too because they yap and sniff around your legs and it scares me and makes me nervous. Infact no offence people but I don't like dogs full stop.

I might just get some chickens or something.
