1st wicket was a run out by solanki, great fielding

2nd wicket was younis khan for a golden duck. went to leave it and inside edged it onto his stumps off flintoffs bowling.

3rd wicket was a type of off spin delivery by anderson which knocked akmals off stump, straight through the gap.

108-7, 103 needed!  Am I right in thinking that the sub system effectively means you have to name your team assuming you will win the toss? We named Bell in the side then had to switch before the match started for Anderson.  That doesn't entirely seem like a fair system, as if we'd done it the other way Anderson could've bowled then Bell could have replaced him for our innings.  Have they no thought it through or am I missing something?

All over, Ali and Anderson gave it a good go, wonderful catch to remove Jimmy though. Pakistan have won the ODI series 3-1, with one to play.

yeh cause the rest of the team did well in batting? really have to lay off him and give him his due sometimes.

the run out was stupid though, i was as annoyed as the next person but to be honest, he is really in the team as a spinner and part time batsman. tresco, prior, strauss, collingwood need to hit the runs.

bravo on ali and anderson though, espically ali, brilliant stuff.

I didnt say the rest of the team did well now did i!, they were in a good position with Blackwell there, he ran himself out by not running straight.

We are proper crap at chasing in ODI's. The Aussies always put up a show, even when they get beat. Our batsmens mentality needs to be as strong as theirs.

Very very dissapointed. I was looking forward to the last one being the decider as Im off work from wednesday.

The one thing that has been a consistent disappointment throughout the tour has been the batting.They seem incapable of playing the way the situation demands,in the two test matches we lost the batsmen fucked up when we could have won/drawn instead of losing.
Anyway yesterday i was watching King Kong on the BBC with the in-vision box up and as we were getting closer to the target i was getting more excited and more angry.We should have won,and were just lucky we didn't get stuffed instead.

blackwell was a stupid cunt. cost us the game. he was batting so well and then decided to take a trip across the fucking square

I admit he made a major mistake,but the it would have helped if the other batsmen had done their job and batted :-))( .Maybe Blackwell should try some visual exercises?He could imagine a nice big pasty perched atop the wicket in place of the bails,i would think that would encourage him to run in a straight line  :wink:

I agree but if you get in you have to make it count and Blackwell didn't

That run out probably sums his England career up,he has ability but not the will to apply himself and work hard.The fucker should have been diving like Pires to get in.But it is a tad harsh i feel to blame him for the loss completely.
