Title: Just My Luck
Post by: blinkpip on Saturday, January 15, 2005, 12:16:32
My car has got a massive dent in it. Someone last night reversed into the driver side door. He buggered off! The Bastard!
But... As I said before I stuck a cctv camera up (hidden) to catch vandals.
So I just check my video and got it all.
What should I do next? Police?
(Iam so glad I stuck the camera up)  :)

http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Product+Details.htm?quicklinx=2ST7&searchphrase=video capture card usb

you could use that, to be fair though you might as well just take the video down to the police and let them sort it out, thats there job at the end of the day.

Whats the point shelling out 35 quid when you can get them to do it for free?  :D

Ta, I still thinking about it. I am not sure what the Police will actually do? Would they look into it. Has anyone else here, ever gone to the police about something the same.

at the end of the day its crimnal damage or failing to report an accident, and you should be able to claim against the other person insurance or settle out of all that. but the police should know not worth taking into your own hands but the sooner you report it the better
