Title: Mick Harford Post by: Tails on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 20:19:24 Says his team had a load of chances.
Now I only listened on the radio, but to me it sounded like they didn't create anything? Also we had more than one chance by the sound of it. His comments are amazingly biased. Title: Mick Harford Post by: Spud on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 20:43:27 Sorry but Iffy said they had alot of chances.
Title: Mick Harford Post by: DiV on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 20:55:23 They had a lot of chances, more than one off the line lots of last minutes blocks and some great saves from Evans. We only had about 4 chances all game
Title: Mick Harford Post by: Simon Pieman on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 20:59:50 That's what the away game is about. Sneaking 3 points whatever happens. Something we needed to do at Vale really.
Title: Mick Harford Post by: Stef Troll on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 21:17:10 Yeah the first half sounded comfortable, with the second half a bit more backs to the walls kind of stuff
. However we got the 3 points, and dug deep. It sounded as if the boys put a lot of effort in, which is nice to here. :D Title: Mick Harford Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 11:16:54 Harford is correct. On another day Rotherham could have beaten us by 5 goals. But we defended well.
Rotherham fans are probably gutted. But who cares? More undeserved 3 points please. Title: Mick Harford Post by: my-velocity on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 11:25:57 Quote from: "Spencer_White" Harford is correct. Title: Mick Harford Post by: DiV on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 12:03:20 we had one shot on target the whole game, ace

Something we needed to do at Vale really. We definitely deserved three points at Vale without a shadow of a doubt. We haven't really had much luck this season with regards to flukey wins, own goals from the opposition etc. so stealing 3 points at Rotherham seemed long overdue! All that matters is that our bottom spot has been occupied by City which certainly made my day! Title: Mick Harford Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 13:01:36 Cheer up Gary Johnson

A shot on target isnt the same as creating a chance in my opinion, we created 3 good chances, as you said two went across the goal and just needed a tap in. He's been sacked, not a big surprise going on their recent results. I think he is one of those people who is excellent as a coach but when it comes to management they don't find it so easy.
