Been down the gym again today and done my usual torture of 40 mins treadmill and 20 mins rower.

It doesn't seem to be having much effect though and i've been running for 2-3 years now.

What i'm wondering is what are people's fitness programmes and diets?

Also i've added a poll just for interest  :soapy tit wank:

Just want abit of advice really to tone up abit more  :)

Im probably average but as Ive not been eating well ive lost some weight and bosy is looking good at last.  Try swimming its teh best thing, im joining a gym again next week

Is that poll meant to be, What State Is Ralphy's body in? There's an option of "Waller" i think you missed :P

I go down t'gym every other day, alternating between aerobic stuff and weights.

Aerobic- Treadmill for 30mins, Rower 15mins, X trainer 20mins and Bike 20mins

Weights-A bit of everything

Been getting a bit lazy recently though......

I mainly do rowing but i have some weights at home as well. I'm about 11 stone and about 5 foot 11.

I generally try and row in 500m stints and always try and get under about 1m56 or just flat out, best I can do is in the 1 minute 40s, I have to try and get a target time or I just get bored. I only go the gym every week or so though. I generally use the treadmill and bike for a bit as well and some of the other stuff but I don't really have a routine.

Running/rowing doesn't really help much I've found unless you wanna lose weights.  Free weights seem to be the way to go...

Im 6ft 2 ,15 stone and a BMI of 19%. I used to play football at a reasonable level until i broke my shoulder and had to give up :( . I do weights 3 days a week for about an hour at a time and also do a bit of mountain biking,im 38 by the way so you nippers have got no excuse for being unfit ! eat plenty of fruit,drink protein shakes, cut out the junk food and you will feel and look better in a couple of months. If you want ot bulk up then stay away from the Cardio machines. :old:

Feck - I put myself down as chubby....

I'm 5' 6" and a 13 Stoner - yet only a 36 inch waist  :?

I seem to carry a lot of weight without being fat (I'm still chubby)  :(

Feck - my BMI is 29 something  :shock:  - overweight, but not obese according to most websites.

My exercise regime is military like - I lift beer weights and play 5-a-side while dodging the heart attacks once a month.  :beers:

I'm just an Average Joe. Mrs Coxywhatsit keeps saying I have a fat belly, cheeky mare - I claim its due to her cooking (which I have to say is exceptional).

Join a Country Club, much more classy than a gym. I go about three times a week for about an hour a time, mix of cardio, swimming & weights. Lots of young hotties in skimpy gym outfits too, which is always a bonus.

Yes, I am a snob  8)

I used to go to the gym all the time. If you want to tone up get doing some free weights Ralphy.

I'm a skinny fucker no matter how I eat/drink etc. Although my dad was the same til he got middle aged spread. I only weigh 9 and a half stone and when I went to the gym my body fat percentage was as low as 7.5%  :shock:

Just over 6ft and weigh 12st 10lb. Just right really. Starting to get a beer belly  :beers:  

If you're unhappy with your figure than that person should do something about it. One thin that pisses me off is when fat cunts complain about it and blame it on being 'big boned'.

All you need is a good diet and plenty of exercise. Mens Health is a good magazine to read. You can actually do exercises with the sofa  :shock:

Although I used to do 200 sit ups a day and run 5 times a week alternating distance and terrain.

These days a sensible diet and walking has  the same effect as any regieme I've ever tried.  I'm just one toned piece of mother lovin sex meat.

I've never been near a gym in my life, well since leaving school and have no intention of doing so.

 Walk and cycle around town is all you need to keep basically fit...then a bit of extra if doing something like a long walk or pedal.....swimming is good though.

 If you smoke, that's a bit of a disaster area, so all the good of exercise is cancelled out.....avoid snacking on comfort type foods, biscuits etc and weight should be about right.

Can't see my strict regime changing in the near future.
