Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 00:43:58 It's all changed :?
2 table sit and gos now available as are private tourneys. Been on there instead of doing coursework. Title: Pokerroom Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 01:23:53 Nice one, we should have a proper townend tournament then $5 sit and go or something.
Title: Pokerroom Post by: yeo on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 01:27:52 yes i'll play
Title: Pokerroom Post by: STFC Village on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 01:35:55 I'll play any other time, except tonight (work)
Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 01:53:59 Well I would play but I cashed out $50 tonight and lost the rest with a few bad beats. I've been put off going in pre-flop with Ace Nine even if it is cheap :|
Title: Pokerroom Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:24:14 $5 is only like £3. Anyone who's not played before should have a go, 'cos at that cheap you're not really going to be losing much, and also there is more than one winner so more chance of winning. I think we should have a townend game tomorrow.

Title: Pokerroom Post by: yeo on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:31:43 no its not ive put 10 dollars in loads

I think I've done that before. You can definitely put in $20 with a visa card though.
Title: Pokerroom Post by: yeo on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:35:52 Whats that?
I just put it in from my debit or credit cards. (im not trying to purseude you by the way if your skint your skint and shouldnt be gambling) Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:38:18 Don't worry I'm not going to play anyway (I would do if I had more money).
£3 could feed me for a couple of days  Title: Pokerroom Post by: yeo on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:39:17 Poor Si shall I send you a food parcel?
Title: Pokerroom Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:40:34 GAMBLE!
Dave M Russell should play, he said he has a debit card now. :advercool: Old school poker. Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:44:24 What's the point Ben? I would only win a max of $25 assuming we are doing sit & go 10 players and top 2 positions pay out. That's not good enough for my risk/reward utility :shake:
Title: Pokerroom Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:49:22 Yeah but you'd only lose a maximum of $5, which is a lot less than $25.
Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:51:56 The point is that the risk of losing even $5 at the moment isn't worth it :-))(
I know $5 aint alot, but considering I have about £2 available to spend on food it is really :soapy tit wank: Title: Pokerroom Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 02:53:05 Quote from: "Yeovil Red" Poor Si shall I send you a food parcel? Title: Pokerroom Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Thursday, November 17, 2005, 19:16:10 It would be best for me if we could play about 8 or 8.30. Dunno if you've tried tournaments before Dave basically you each pay $5.50 and you start off with normally $1500 each then the minimum bet starts off at say $10 and gets steadily larger until one person wins all the money and they win the tournament. You get money for coming second as well.
It's best not to sit out because if you do that for too long all your money will be taken up because you still have to pay the blinds. Title: Pokerroom Post by: yeo on Thursday, November 17, 2005, 19:24:42 I'll probably play as well.
Title: Pokerroom Post by: STFC Village on Thursday, November 17, 2005, 19:45:52 Anyone fancy some play money action, while we're waiting?
