Well I would play but I cashed out $50 tonight and lost the rest with a few bad beats. I've been put off going in pre-flop with Ace Nine even if it is cheap  :|

$5 is only like £3. Anyone who's not played before should have a go, 'cos at that cheap you're not really going to be losing much, and also there is more than one winner so more chance of winning. I think we should have a townend game tomorrow.

Tomorrow, as in Thursday, would be ideal pour moi. Tomorrow, as in today, as in Wednesday, is no good due to aforementioned concert

What's the point Ben? I would only win a max of $25 assuming we are doing sit & go 10 players and top 2 positions pay out. That's not good enough for my risk/reward utility  :shake:

Yeah but you'd only lose a maximum of $5, which is a lot less than $25.

The point is that the risk of losing even $5 at the moment isn't worth it  :-))(

They do a poker night every other thursday at my uni for a fiver. Might go along one day.

It would be best for me if we could play about 8 or 8.30. Dunno if you've tried tournaments before Dave basically you each pay $5.50 and you start off with normally $1500 each then the minimum bet starts off at say $10 and gets steadily larger until one person wins all the money and they win the tournament. You get money for coming second as well.

It's best not to sit out because if you do that for too long all your money will be taken up because you still have to pay the blinds.

I'll probably play as well.
