The european car of the year is always a fairly run of the mill vehicle which all of those are. I'd back the Passatt to win.

Although seeing recent trends it'll be the C1 for being far too small and as economical as fluffy puppies - but it's not any good. Yaris has also won it before, as has a previous Alfa.
