media's a piece of piss but i'm dropping it because it's dull as dishwater

film's fairly easy lesson-wise because you just watch films, but there's more to it than you think.

Adam Hart-Davis is the authoritive presenter of Local Heroes. He rides around the country dressed in yellow cycling gear and stops off to talk about famous and not so famous local people who invented or discovered or started something important. He talks about them with great authority but his researchers know loads more than him - I have that on good authority.

I don't know if he is Scottish or not - sorry.
