Once upon a time, I used to bake all my own bread,  got the flour from Rushall Mill, Pewsey....top organic stuff....mixed it with a bit of white to make it  a bit less heavy....then would bake a batch for the week..

Liked to put different seeds on the top to finish it off.

A couple of slices of that would set you up.

Never used a breadmaker....just did it by hand and bunged it in the oven, its not that difficult.

 You remember Wilf's lardy?

I always liked to support the businesses of STFC chairmen....so bread and lardy from Wilfs.....caul, chitterlins and pies from Eric Lane.

But I'd have never bought a used car from Maurice Earle,  got my hair cut in  honest Bri's hair salon in Calne.....or watched Carson on the TV.

To be fair I've bought Burmah petrol..would have happily bought gravel from Multi Agg had the need arisen.....but fuck knows what Spearman and Hardman ever did.
