Title: Davis Haule - Yeading
Post by: Dazzza on Monday, January 10, 2005, 00:52:08
Anyone remember the lad?

From the Times today:

Quote
A doctor once wrote him off after a cartilage was removed, a Chinese herbalist sold him an evil-smelling brew that he believes worked the miracle, and aside from his diamond earring he wears a smile that could light up a mineshaft.

“It first went pear-shaped for me at 17,” he recalls at The Warren, Yeading’s cramped ground tucked away beneath the flight path into Heathrow airport. “I’d left home for Swindon, John Gorman was the manager and he was working on me every day. Then he got the sack and his replacement, Steve McMahon, didn’t have time for me. That was it — a broken life.”
