they are ruling out any ticket reductions!!

Not good as to get a decent seat in the Nationwide is £21 (if you buy your ticket ahead of Saturday) and that is STILL too much .. they need to do things like buy the next 3 home games and get a reduction type thing ... ie if you get tickets for the next 3 home games u only pay £50 instead of the usual £63 or £69?

Or at the very least Kids should be cheaper when accompanied by parents ...

The ydo need to do something soon about the ticketing policy, otherwise we'll find ourselves relegated with 3000 regulars and no way of attracting back the rest.  

Also the board will have to reduce prices if we do go down - might as well try something now to at least prepare for it, and maybe keep more fans interested.

In which case, reduce the on-the-day price from £23 to £22.
Still a discount for buying in advance (now only a £1), but people stop quoting this headline price and the psychology makes it seem that prices have reduced, even though the club will be taking the same money within a hundred quid or so.

If you buy a ticket in advance you have to pay a 'booking' fee anyway.So thats just bollocks.

I assume the booking fee doesn't apply for those of us lucky enough to be able to get to the CG in working hours?

Top Tip: If you order 10 tickets the booking fee is only 10p per ticker  :D  :D

Sticking up slightly for the cockney wide-boy and our lunatic fringe of a board,would the un-reduced prices be because of the stewarding costs?I mean you can't have hundreds of Swindon fans :-))( , so near to the away fans without adequate stewarding.It could be a blood bath, as the rabid Town fans attempt to 'take' the Arkells :)  :wink: .

The Stratton Bank would be for schoolkids on special promos; it's totally separate from the main ticket prices. So what they're saying is "Yes we'll look at opening the Bank for a special promo for kids (ie not regular fans" but "No we won't reduce the main ticket prices (except possibly for one-off promos for individual games)"

This seems like madness in our present plight.  We have three good covered stands which are now half full. We have a desperate need to get more bums on seats and incresed income thereof. Therefore, reduce prices to say £18 adult for a fewv games and see what happens.

Hence the need for a roof ,because it would be a P.R disaster if the Bank is full of shivering wet schoolkids.Although it would increase my viewing pleasure no-end :wink: .

Why don't they take the roof off of the Town End and put it over the Bank? :wink:

what we should do, is open up the town end and stratton bank....and when you buy a ticket for one...you get a ticker for the other.

Then depending on which end Swindon shoot at you sit there so they are always attacking the crowd 8)

Hope they put a roof on after the City game on 11 November. That way the wurzels will get wet should it be raining!  :twisted:

the roof is a good idea but what's the point if the board aint guna reduce the prices? i cant see many fans coming back to watch the mighty town tbh
