Title: Player going out! Post by: Danjackson10 on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 09:37:20 Iffy has said that he may send some players out on loan! Could this mean a certain Christian Roberts being sent out to gain some confidence?
Title: Player going out! Post by: mattboyslim on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 09:42:28 Or Thorpe, or Cureton, a month in league 2 would be beneficial to get goals and confidence, Rovers anyone?
Title: Player going out! Post by: adje on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 09:42:49 must be the youngsters or cureton.
Title: Player going out! Post by: DV on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 10:01:31 Christian Roberts without confidence yeah right, he is the only member of our team arrogant enough to have any confidence at the moment.
Jamie Cureton, Ben Wells, Charlie Platt etc Title: Player going out! Post by: Danjackson10 on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 10:14:20 He has got the attitude, right! But he does not have that confidence in fron of goal! Cureton is another one who may benefit though! I definitely think it will be a striker!
Title: Player going out! Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 10:19:00 It won't be Tony Thorpe... Even though he probably should.
It wouldn't do Jamie Cureton any harm to go out for a month with a League Two club. I think it will be the likes of Charlie C-Platt, Ben Wells and Kyle Lapham Title: Player going out! Post by: Batch on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 10:46:53 Iffys latest comments suggest Roberts is in his thoughts regarding the first team. So I reckon C-Platt, or another youngster..

Forest Green Rovers maybe.....but I wouldn't be convinced that either could do a job at this level. Title: Player going out! Post by: Piemonte on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 11:12:53 I thought this was going to be another "XXX was out on the piss last night" thread :|
Title: Player going out! Post by: le god cuervo on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 12:48:24 will be cureton hopefully, then he can come back & score loads of goals for us.
Title: Player going out! Post by: Leggett on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 14:13:08 pie mate, same as!
yea throw curo out on loan for a month or 2. Title: Player going out! Post by: DMR on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 14:51:37 I think Platt ought to get a go at centre half for us
Title: Player going out! Post by: PHIL!!!! on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 15:01:13 Iffy wont send out two strikers because we may need cover if one a striker gets injured.
I hope he sends out Cureton because he could really do with a boost. I also hope Platt or Wells goes out on loan so then they can get some more experience. Title: Player going out! Post by: PHIL!!!! on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 15:02:48 I cant see Roberts goin out on loan because we really need him, especially if Shakes gets injured.

Title: Player going out! Post by: mattboyslim on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 15:09:04 Phil!!! agree, one of thorpe/curo out for a month in league 2 although maybe roberts if he keeps struggling but have him on instant recall if we're desperate.
How this works regarding our emergency loan requests baffles me a bit. I know that the league are anti the window so maybe they bend the rules but how can we be entitled to loan someone as an 'emergency' when we're gonna loan players out. I though the emergency situation was for situations when a club had no fit keeper etc? Title: Player going out! Its like when we signed McDermott on loan, we only just managed to sign him within the transfer window time, but now it seems you can sign a player on loan when ever. They must have changed the rule over the summer. |
