He has proved he can finish by scoring a few goals for the reserves. He is also tall himself and wont just get shrugged off the ball like the dwarves either.

Personally, I think Shakes should be categorised as a right winger as we're crowded enough up front as it is without considering a winger as a striker. I don't think he will get a chance up there as his finishing for the first team has been abysmal, as has his first touch. I'm surprised he hasn't come in for some criticism as he's supposed to be a great player, but when I've seen him it's been all fancy no product - a black Sebastian Ruster anyone?
