Title: The Press Conference Post by: benji_turner on Monday, September 26, 2005, 14:38:45 Is there any chance of it starting round about now. The Hollies on BBC Swindon only has limited appeal! Why are they taking so long. Maybe there's going to be a twist in the managerial choice??

Iffy is in Temp charge and King is sorting out his contract with the lawyers and wont be sorted for another 48 hours. Wonder how much this will cost us to get rid of him. Sounded like a mutual termination. p.s. that Sandy Gray is thick as fook Title: The Press Conference Post by: yeo on Monday, September 26, 2005, 14:56:47 So the plan is
Quote Lets wait and see Title: The Press Conference Post by: benji_turner on Monday, September 26, 2005, 14:58:01 i've decided one thing, sandy gray is a complete twat. She can't be in a position of Chief Exec with a manner like that, absoloutely clueless, and a pretty empty press conference telling fans nothing. The best one was calling us fans impatient??? I mean really, weve been waiting for a follow up to the play off 2003/4 season. I think that its about time we showed a bit of impatience. Neway good luck to Iffy, he sounds suitably up for it, which could put him in good stead for the job, which still sounds like a pretty open job
Title: The Press Conference Post by: DV on Monday, September 26, 2005, 14:58:05 glad they didnt give Iffy a job permanent, as said lets wait and see...
I really hope he does well and installs some passion back in the team...Iffy Onuora's Barmy Army Title: The Press Conference Post by: magicroundabout on Monday, September 26, 2005, 14:59:06 or in the words of Sandy
Quote letsth waith and sthee whilst twitching uncontrollablyTitle: The Press Conference Post by: janaage on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:03:06 How did she get round to calling the fans impatient?
Title: The Press Conference Post by: benji_turner on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:04:43 she just said that the crowd have been getting impatient, but in a pretty negative tone of voice, almost as if what we were doing was wrong!
Title: The Press Conference Post by: Leggett on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:07:37 "bringing it upon ourselves"...
nice way to distance yourself from the people who help fund your wages Thandy!!! Title: The Press Conference Post by: magicroundabout on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:07:51 Quote How did she get round to calling the fans impatient? i never heard her say that?? she said we need to be patient so interpret as you will. but she said Iffy was basically in temp charge and that STFC & King's lawyers are sorting out his contract which should be sorted within 48 hours. She also said that they had been in disscusion for a couple of days so King must have been pulled in straight after saturdays game. They also asked why Reeves wasn't considered and she blamed his broken leg by saying he is still injured and is waiting to see a specialist. Like it matters!!! That's because she's clearly not a football person, so fails to sympathise with what being a fan does to you. Title: The Press Conference Post by: benji_turner on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:09:50 ah well no matter if u heard it or not, it was a pretty shite conference really telling us wot we knew already. so ru pleased they chose iffy to run the show ahead of the others?
Title: The Press Conference Post by: janaage on Monday, September 26, 2005, 15:12:40 I'm so glad Reeves didn't get it. I can handle Iffy being the temp numero uno.

Title: The Press Conference Post by: land_of_bo on Monday, September 26, 2005, 19:25:31 I know its probably been said a thousand times, but that woman looks like someones mum who has been voluntereed to appear before the cameras!
I saw her on bbc news tonight and she sat there looking into the desk, hands under the desk, swaying from side to side and stumbling and mumbling every word. Great fucking presentation skills. Surely there must be someone at the club who is capable of reading a pre-written statement coherently? Iffy looked embarassed to be sat next to her and looked a lot happier when he was interview sat in the stand later in the program with her out of sight!
