Announcement due on King's future around lunchtime today, and some on MoS saying BBC RS are reporting he's gone already. Anyone got a radio can confirm this?

Think so, shame we can't utilise him as chief scout because to be fair to the man he has brought in some great players in his 5 years. Shame he doesn't know how to use them properly!

If he's gone I am well and truly gutted.

 When Evans left a lot of the KOB wanted Ruddock installed as manager,  the fact that he is tempermentally unsuited to such a task,.didn't enter their thinking.

 The board will desperately hope that Iffy can get a few draws and maybe an odd win over the next 5 games or so, then they can give him the job....if it doesn't work.....fully expect to see Sandy Gray in charge, until the club is wound up.

The more I think about it the more I think Iffy might work out as a good choice.  Not sure why just a feeling.

You never know - was assistant at Walsall, bit of a journey man of late, so may know of a few gems come January.

Frankly i feel its going to be strange without him smoking his cigars and his mad interviews,but something had to be done and the manager ultimately gets the blame.Now lets see all those  ' i'm staying away till king gets the sack 'fans come back in their droves :-))( ,call me a cynic but i can see them finding another reason to stay away.

I feel a little sad. I think the bloke gave it everything he had. I don't think you get that much effort put in by many people these days. I hope that things work out for the bloke and that he finds himself in full employment in the near future.

Thanks for all of your efforts over the last 5 years Mr King, in what has been a turbulent time for the club.
