No i dont want to join in as at the moment I think Kingy is the best we can get .. Ill review my thinking at Xmas once we can see how things have gone.

I dont relish the thought of a Bobby Gould type figure coming in ...

But you are entitled to your own opinion .. im not saying im right :-))(

They are clearly missing the point, no one actually listens to Kingys after match crap anymore! so no one will hear the chants

No way.  I always listen to him, it's his best feature as a manager.  A ledge to listen to!!

His after match comments are the most annoying thing about him!, he might aswell tape one and replay the same one every week.

I don't understand why people don't like them, he's easily the most entertaining manager we've ever had in his interviews. Don't you remember how boring all the others were.

I would rather have a good manager who is shite at interviews than a shite manager who can be reasonably entertaining when he opens his mouth and lets his belly rumble!

Ah, maybe its just me but I expect my football managers to be exactly that football managers, not comedians....sorry if I'm in the wrong

If you did get some people shouting through the interview, would'nt kingy and shaun just go down the tunnel where the fans can't be heard?! :D I guess their next plan would be to throw bananas at king when he comes out :-))(

I'd rather have a manager who was also a comedian,  in the past we've generally had boring managers who are shit at their job and give shit interviews.

Id sooner have a tactical genius who can get the team playing decnet Football instead of the hoofing shit we currently play.

Id quite like Russ Abbot to take over if Kingy goes maybe with the Crankies as first team coaches.

King was a good manager.  If you look at what he's done for us it's clear:
Parkin, playoffs, O'Hanlon, Leeds, Clear of relegation zone for years   - to name a few.

Parkin-yes, Playoffs-2 years ago, O'Hanlon-yes, Clear of relegation-so we should be.

Elstrap, we've gone downhill steadily since the play offs which Spuddy rightly points out were 2 seasons ago now. under achievement last season and so far this season. he had to go.

And if Sean O'hanlon was that good, we wouldnt concede so many fucking goals. Not really having a pop at him as hes our best defender, but for king to call him the "best defender outside the premiership" was total bollocks. If thats the case, then I'm a decent league 1 player.

After the Brighton PO game King said "we now need to build on this and go one step further next year!", of course we needed to but didnt and he was rightly sacked.

Yep-we are the worst cup team in the country over the last 5 years thanks to the previous manager.
