I think you will find that this is a Star Trek Fan Club subreddit :D but to be fair i do feel like being beamed up sometimes when reading some posts..

I use a minimist just about functional app called forum fiend.

it can't do a lot of stuff but it's simple and uncluttered (don't tell Tapatalk, they get shitty over their API being used).

I find the out layout looks a lot less cluttered.

Personally, I thought it looked awful on phone and PC. But, I didnt sign up for an account.

If the TEF is going to move, then make the decision, close the boards and force everyone to either go, or not.

Personally, I want a binary option - One or none. I dont want a fractured TEF.

Reddit looks awful in my opinion, to much going on.
The simplicity of this forum is the best bit, I don’t mean the posters either.

The old reddit style is more simplified and less congested as well as cleaner in thread comments, than the newer style.

I guess whilst the SMF Software is slowly failing, the TEF Mods have agreed to accelerate the deprecation of the TEF until a closure/legacy site is the only plausible option.

I'm sure we'll all cry yet rejoice when this forum finally evaporates.

Just out of curiosity I wonder how many posters comment on the Adver forum, ones that come to mind are Batch, Duke, chalkie and Geoff the ref.

Sorry yes comments on various stories. I used to use the forum up until a couple of years ago until it went downhill.

The TEF isn't going anywhere for now. I will continue to post in both places and I'm sure others will too.

Just remember r/thetownend if this site one day disappears.
