my last day is friday. i might play a hilarious prank whereby i put porn or some other related material on our plasma tv's  :twisted:  then pretend i don't know anything about it.

i was an hour and a hlaf late work work this morning. not good on the 2nd day back

safe as fuck, I've got today off anyway and they've given me tomorrow off as paid holiday which I wasn't allowed to take before Christmas. This means I only have to go in and piss about on Friday :D

I'm going to look for another job in a pharmacy straight away, I just flat out refuse to work where I am now.

I don't wanna go to work either, but I need the damn money.  I can't help thinking "for a six hour shift I'll get about 30 quid, yet going to the Colchester game cost 40".  It's just a depressing thought.  I can't really complain, I only do 6 hours a week plus the occassional overtime, though I do get treated like sh*t sometimes.  Next are quite good employers, but I am cheesed off because I went into to do overtime on the 23rd only to get sent home 90 minutes in.  I felt like it was a wasted day.

It's a culmination of lots of different things, most of which add up to the fact Tesco are awful to work for. I will have worked their for four months by the time I leave and in that time, I've never seen a contract, receieved no uniform, not had a locker, the store manager has spoken to me once - which was yesterday - and I've had numerous disciplinary procedures brought upon me due to my health issues, despite of the fact they were fully aware of them when I was given the job. I just hate the atmosphere there, I love my job though and I intend to make a career in pharmaceuticals somewhere but as Pharmacy workers in Tesco, other staff treat you with utter disdain because you get paid more than them, the managers aren't interested in you unless they need something and they're discourteous and impolite. For an 18 year old lad such as myself, working in a store full of middle aged women just isn't right. I don't want to work for a huge company like that either.

So I quit. And I'm quite happy about it. I'll miss a few of the people I work with but to be honest I don't really care about them so it doesn't matter much. It's a shame because the hours were perfect and I'll probably have to work Saturday's wherever I go next.

They do treat you like shit there, I was there nearly 5 years, when they bought in that stupid sick thing.  I got a warning for getting glandular fever, when I wasn't allowed a jacket to work out in the cold.  Wankers, tossers, feckers  :evil:

He absolutely fucking reeks. I've left the staff room during a break because I was choking before and he wasn't sat near me.

Yep that sounds like Trevor.  Dawn worked in the staff canteen moves her head from side to side so she can see.  might not work there anymore.  Dunno jamie though.

I don't think so, she used to talk to herself quite a bit though.  I think she has glaucoma and is a bit mental.  She was funny, we could nick stuff right under her nose when she moved her head the other way. evil but funny!

I can't remember who the store manager was, as I worked evenings and only saw the night manager. but I worked on Grocery, I was also multi-skilled  :oops: oooh the nostalgia!!

don't laugh, I used to blag the job on wines and spirits with the walkie talkie, to avoid checkouts, that was before the shop change round.  How sad are we walking about tesco  :soapy tit wank:
