Title: Samsung Phone Update - now some apps not working Post by: 4D on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, 09:41:48 I had a software update last night and now I cannot access Gmail and a few other apps. It opens the Gmail and when I go to select an email it comes back out of the app saying "Gmail keeps stopping". A few other apps are doing the same. Pissed off. Any ideas?

conflicting advice: try Update "Android System Webview" in playstore _-------------- According to Samsung support for #gmail crashing (still not working): Remove the Webview Update and then restart the phone by go to: -settings -apps -tap the three dots in the top right corner -show system apps -search for Android System WebView -select Uninstall updates. The other settings thingy mentioned that data would be lost, so I chickened out. :)
