Its a load of bollocks. But I am starting to wonder if we are stuck with King forever. Ive never seen a manager survive about 10 sackable offenses before.

He told some mates of mine in Blackpool that he was only doing the job for the same reasons we do our 9-5's. That pissed them off.

King is untouchable, untill attendences drop so much so that getting rid of him will increase them and make us more money.

Would be interesting to know, what attendences they've predicted us for the season and what figure is the 'break-even' figure.

If it drops below it and stays there, King could well be out. I live in hope...

I think he says that sort of thing just to piss people off.

I'm losing patience with him fast and I've generally always been fairly supportive of him.

I have to be honest I am too SY, it does seem as though he's taken us as far as he can.

I've always been a King supporter, and during the close season when it looked like he had pulled off enough quality signings to give us a shout at the play-offs I saw no reason to change my mind. Now we've got to a point where those signings haven't gelled, and we look like we could be in for a scrap in the lower reaches of the league I'm starting to think it's time for a new face.

I'm just waiting for the excuse 'its not my team' or 'I've been limited by funds'...

I have always supported King and find it hard to go against that now.
He has no money for transfers
He has little money for wages
He puts a squad together each year.

I agree that we would be better with a better manager, but NONE of us know who we can afford, how good they would be for us, and how LOYAL they would be, If we got someone better than King and they decided to walk out after a short period *cough* Roy Evans *cough*, then we would be fooked.
