Title: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Liverpool88 on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 19:43:53 Liverpool fan here in peace I've seen Lawrence Vigouroux has been injured recently, as a Liverpool fan I'm just wondering what he's like and if you think he's been good this season and whether he'll have a future at Liverpool?
Thanks, 88 Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 19:48:55 1. I think he's been pretty good this season and I hope we sign him.
2. Don't think there is any chance of him ever playing for Liverpool. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Batch on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 19:52:27 Fuutre at Liverpool, well he's young, and they say keepers mature later, but personally I can't see it.
How's he got on. He's done alright. Good shot stopper, looks promising but as you'd expect not the finished article. He's let a couple of soft ones in, and his distribution isn't great. Also struggles sometimes with our total (suicidal) football playing it short from the back, using the keeper as a sweeper/extra player. He's young, not criticising him at all. He's proven himself the #1 in my eyes. I think most people want him back in ASAP. Not sure he's quite made the same impact that our previous young keeper Wes Fodderingham did. Not sure if that's because he's following on from Wes, so harder to be impressive, or because he's not quite as good. Wes himself replaced an inconsistent older custodian so it was easier for him to impress. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: @mwooly63 on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 19:53:05 Don't think will be a first team keeper for you lot tho who knows.
Has improved this season and no doubt will continue to do so. Hands down better than our other keeper who also came from your lot :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: molepar on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 20:32:56 I think he is very good. Not as good as Fods was last season but improving all te time and probably has a good future ahead o him. Probably not good enough for Liverpool though.
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 20:35:10 He is a good goalkeeper.
Every match we endure without him between the sticks confirms this more and more. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 23:15:41 Whilst Mignolet is still earning a wage in the Premier League, Vigouroux has a chance... :D
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: LucienSanchez on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 05:01:58 He's a decent L1 'keeper. Won't play any higher on a regular basis.
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 06:14:32 Average for me but much better tnan Belford. Need to do some recruitment of keepers this summer.
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Tails on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 06:27:28 He's unfortunate in that he had to follow one of the best keepers we'll probably have. He's decent and he has potential to improve but as it stands I can't see him being a number 1 at Liverpool. Although he's better than Mignolet!
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: JayBox325 on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 14:54:27 Firstly, "Hi Lawrence's Mum. We like your son here very much!"
Secondly, he started strong, had a few bad games in the middle but has started to pull off some good saves. He's a great shot stopper so he'd probably have more luck in another squad, but he definitely struggles being a sweeper playing with the ball at his feet which is, unfortunately, how we play. See exhibit A: https://youtu.be/mIr2DZmOuEg?t=46s It doesn't back up my 'he's a good shot-stopper' but yeah... this is one of his worse games. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: FreddySTFC! on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 21:09:11 Good keeper at this level. Would be even better if as has been previously mentioned he wasn't being forced to play out from the back. Think he may have what it takes to cut it at Championship level. Needs to command his area better though, there's been times when he's been rooted to his line when he should be taking people out to make the ball his!

I forgot the second goal. bellfield hasn't done anything like that. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Tails on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 07:39:16 Who's Bellfield?
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Don Rogers Sock on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 07:48:37 I rate him. Any keeper will struggle with that defence and midfield in front of him
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: pauld on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 09:49:46 Who's Bellfield? He's the serial killer who murdered Millie Dowler, some posters seem to keep confusing him with our reserve keeper. While opinions may be a little mixed on how effective Belford is in that role, the comparison seems a bit harsh. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: jayohaitchenn on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 10:09:07 He couldn't even catch (and murder) a child.

Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: pauld on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 10:36:39 No, only one fucking moron of a poster. OK, well he keeps doing it. Assumed it must be more than one, because once is a typo, but if he keeps doing it, it would seem to be deliberate. Which seems a little crass, even for that usernameTitle: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Ells on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 11:48:58 Levi Bellfield isn't even his name anymore, he's changed it to Yusuf Rahim.
Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: horlock07 on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 11:53:05 Levi (unfunny pun) isn't even his name anymore, he's changed it to Yusuf Rahim. Who Ty Belford? Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Ells on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 17:11:39 Who Ty Belford? Not to my knowledge, although being called Tyrell I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to change his name. Title: Re: Lawrence Vigouroux Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, April 7, 2016, 18:40:23 Not to my knowledge, although being called Tyrell I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to change his name. Why so? Tyrell is an old English name....Sir Walter Tyrell being the prime suspect in the regicide of William Rufus, the hated son of the Bastard of Falaise. Many years ago, I met a nice young bird, who worked at Avon Tyrell, which was a large country pile, in the New Forest, named after Sir Walter at which I happened through work to be staying..it was fun while it lasted, hence my Tyrellophilia.
