Not sure. It was probably once or twice last week and maybe discussions about it weren't very constructive.

I was watching him train at half time on Saturday and he spent the first 5/10 mins on his own with nobody talking to him or helping him train. He was just taking pens in an empty net. This said a lot that even Hale wasn't warming him up.

Didn't Cooper say he and the players decided he should be dropped. If the players are saying that, kinda speaks volumes.

We're still in the Emergency Loan Window, but we can only sign someone for a max of 90-odd days.

Yeah, Ryan Allsop and Paolo Gazzaniga were the first names that immediately came to mind.

Need to get someone in ASAP as Belford may say nice things on Twitter but he's a pretty poor keeper. Realistically I would say he's not even really a football league keeper in terms of quality, probably conference at best like his brother so a run with him as our regular keeper scares me.

Lets give the guy a chance without writing him off having only seen him a couple of times, he has barely had a chance so lets give him a go and see how he get's on

I had more confidence in Vig after one game than I've ever had in Belford.

For no reason I can think off, I felt the same.

Belford didn't handle one shot without spilling it on Saturday. They were all spilled immediately in front of him, but it didn't say much for his technique

It's not based on one game though is it. He had that run the other season when Fods was injured, he played a few times last season and preseason and obviously there was Saturday.
He just doesn't have the attributes to be a regular Football League keeper. He's very small, Fods wasn't the biggest but he at least had a presence, he doesn't command his box, he gets beaten at his near post a lot and his handling has always been suspect. Also he's very hesitant and indecisive off his line culminating in his red card last season.
He's been here 3 years now and never put any pressure on the number one so I think it's long enough on which to base an opinion now. He's a useful backup and no more than than that.

Not hitting the panic button, but we need someone in imminently, and not to sit on the bench.

I'd rather see Belford at wing-back.

We concede in just about every game - you can't throw that stat at him.

We haven't won a single one of the eight league games he's played in... conceding a total of 17 goals along the way.

I think 17 from 8 is better than our average goals conceded since Easter! Well I read it was 2 a game anyway, I'm not adding it all up.

Your right, it hasnt been reported on, the pennies have been reported on but by all accounts there have been some other in-discretions along the way to do with time-keeping, general attitude etc which has irked a number of the group
