Title: Ownership in Football Post by: Pauwel90 on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 19:10:21 Guys,
I'm currently working on my master thesis. I want to measure the effects of ownership models on the loyalty of football fans. As a fan I'm very concerned about the new developments in football and there hasn't been a lot of research on this topic. Remember that this is a theoretical approach; it doesn't quite catch the full picture. The goal of the thesis is to detect some strong effects that could be further analyzed in new research. It will take 5-10 minutes of your time. I got the feeling this is a topic that concerns a lot of fans. So I would love to collect a few opinions on the matter as well. How do you feel about the owners of Swindon Town? https://jfe.qualtrics.com/form/SV_6CZc9HhL1wyqr77 Thanks in advance, Pauwel Nuytemans Title: Re: Ownership in Football Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 19:13:49 Hi Jed

You could base a whole thesis on the issues surrounding the recent ownership of this club! I suggest you read the threads "Jed Mccrory" and "Steve Murrall" on this forum and the relevant articles on http://thewashbag.com/ and on http://www.truststfc.com/, and the recent High Court Judgment at http://www.truststfc.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Judgement-Swinton-McCrory-Seebeck-1-July-2014-Strauss-QC.pdf. Happy reading!
