I've a spare ticket if anyone on here is interested in going, if your planning on buying outside as its sold out you might get mugged off. I'll knock a few pounds off for town fans.

Long Run's jumping is appalling, couldnt have him. Can see Carberry having Monbeg Dde too far back and getting in to trouble, although he'd have a chance on form.

Balthazar King for me but not a race for a proper punt.

If The New One runs on Thursday he's the bet of the meeting.

Tidal bay for me. Always back it e/w when he runs. 13 now and top weight, but I think he's more than good enough to be placed.

Only had 1 bet on the National, Tidal Bay in an Each Way double with TizLove Regardless in the Derby..

I'll probably chuck a bit at it on Saturday, pick 1 or 2 out and have a fiver each way. As DMR says, it's not a race to smash.

Big shu is my other selection for the national.

The jockey who won it last year (I think) was on the BBC news this morning and tipped that.

I've got Double Seven in the sweepstake draw at work, quite happy with it.

Will doubtless fall and have to be shot on the first lap.

Got a few personal quid e/w on The Package and drew somethingorother about a Hunt that's about 80-1 in the work sweepstake, so not feeling likely to win there.

Not like you to put your winners up after the event again.

You'll forgive the scepticism...

again?
Though I accept the scepticism in this case.
As a racing enthusiast you'll know the national is a lottery even the most knowledgeable can only guess with hope.
