Yes but it wouldn't have suited Sky who want the game on the Monday. When it comes to clash between common sense and the interests of fans and football on one side vs Sky on the other, Sky always win. That's the rules.

I suspect that the Valentine's night thing was considered, but I also suspect that Kasim's 2nd game ban was also a contributing factor. With the Colchester game still taking place before the 2nd leg, Kasim will be able to play. If the game had been deferred, then he would have missed out.

A few years back England played in Rome in the 6 Nations on valentines day.
I took my wife for a "romantic weekend" - she didn't know about the rugby

We "noticed" allot of English blokes around, and I "asked what they were doing in Rome"
When it turned out that by total coincidence, England were playing there she suggested we should both go and watch it.

So far so good.

It all fell apart when she realised that we had been travelling with two tickets.

Saw RBF last week in Bristhole courtesy of some freebies :D they are brilliant live, got to meet them afterwards too, they are a good bunch of freaks.

I went to a gig with some attractive people a few years back and met them, brilliant fun. One of my favourites to see live. This triple-threat tour with LTJ and Zebrahead is something I HAVE to see. Only way it could be better is if Suburban Legends were supporting, they're awesome.

 :).  Overated and exensive.  In the earlier years of our relationship, my husband had flowers delivered to work.  They cost a silly price and died within a few days, complete waste of money.  I'm happy with a card and some flowers from Morrisons, they last much longer!

I'm a skinflint, and as such the missus used to get chocolates, flowers etc for pretty much the whole week after Valentines when they were on sale.

I'm not sure if my Mrs is joking or not, but she seems insistant that I don't go to the game Friday. Strange thing is I will be working on the ticket office, so have to go to CG anyway. She seems ok that I work that, but not watch the game  :hmmm:

Being romantic on command is an oxymoron. I don't pander to such bullshit.

 When I was a youth, Valentine's Day was a rather nice little thing whereby, if either of the sexes quite fancied someonr and couldn't quite pluck up the courage to make their intentions known....they could send a card or a small gift or something anonymously, the fun was then in trying to guess where it had come from and if necessary us it as an icebreaker...a sort of stalking amnesty without social condemnation  :)

Assuming the game is on (ha ha) it will as likely as not be pissing it down. Now remember for your health and public safety you cannot take umbrellas into the ground. Just in case you've had a wifebeater or two and get leery and want to run accross the pitch and attack the lone Colchester fan stupid enough to turn up. Two things spring to mind. One being you'll get stuck half way accross and either sink out of sight or the game will stop and everyone piss themselves laughing at your attempt to stay upright. Two you could use your umbrella ( aka offensive weapon) outside the ground!

So based on that unless you turn up in a wetsuit or marine man overboard survival suit you'll catch phneumonia attending.
