The Cross Keys, got converted into Picklejohn's.....Britains first Indian Restaurant pub..if the owners are to be believed and the Mission became the Studio. Vadim's became Soda and kicked out its former more mature clientele in search of the yoof market, so one punter tried to burn it down. The George got a makeover, and is not now frequented by junkies and wasters. The Royal Oak was for a while a pub where old slappers would do a bit of naff pole dancing.......alright if (like me) you don't mind saggy tits. Title: Exciting Swindon! He fell on the floor, passed out, and proceded to shit whilst asleep.
