Title: Cheap Desktop Post by: Nomoreheroes on Thursday, September 26, 2013, 08:38:23 Thinking of getting a cheap desktop for the 'outlaws'. They only surf, email & skype. Their current desktop has XP. They want lightning fast speed (on their emails and web browsing) and I want to stop them downloading lots of crap that I have to sort out every 5 mins!

Obviously I want it as cheap as possible and i'm not one for it being all singing and dancing, just want an efficient pc. I want it to be able to surf the net, the usual document printing etc, and be able to burn dvd's. Would want one with an operating system already installed. I've seen a few refurbs on E-bay going from around £69.99 but am unsure if they're any good? I can't recommend them for customer service issues as everything's been fine and I've had no problems that needed resolving.
