Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: walrus on Friday, August 12, 2005, 13:20:01 Why is it we have to prebook student tickets? What is the fucking idea behind that? And why is it I should pay a booking fee for the priveledge of getting a sodding student ticket? Why not remove concessions and lower adult prices slightly? Afterall we're all watching the same fucking game, and have arses of similar size causing similar wear and tear. The bloke's voice in the ticket office does my fucking nut... He's possibly the most boring person in the world, helpful as he is!
Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: Spud on Friday, August 12, 2005, 13:24:27 You get it cheaper than an adult ticket but you're still complaining about a fucking booking fee!, get a job, stop listening to the Levellers. :)

Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: BrightonRed on Friday, August 12, 2005, 13:33:48 I'm an ex-student (i.e unemployed) but I still think the rules for concessions tickets is pathetic.
I like the way the matchday magazine says: Students: Non-Matchdays £13 Matchdays: £15* *Student tickets are not available on matchdays. Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: le god cuervo on Friday, August 12, 2005, 13:45:51 it actually says OAP/student - £13 - £15* so :P

Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: walrus on Friday, August 12, 2005, 22:45:32 You're all gayers.
Right that's it, I'm boycotting all games till King is sacked and Sandy Gray gets her norks out. Johno - have you tried booking a student ticket over the phone and then collecting them 10 mins before the match? They don't ask for a student card then, and if they do show any form of school card (you must have something to do with school with your picture on?) and they should let you in on student prices. It worked for me when I couldn't be arsed/didn't know how to get an NUS card in my AS year.... Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: Johno on Friday, August 12, 2005, 22:47:17 no i haven't tried that! cheers mate for the advice!

Is it any surprise that people in my situation gave up going to see matches years ago ? NMH Title: Exiles Revolt Post by: Batch on Saturday, August 13, 2005, 09:51:18 Bloody whining students of today. My sister was moaning that her landlord didn't clean the carpets and her broadband won't be on until September. Ours didn't come and scrape the mold off the walls and the telephone box over the road smelt of piss.
STFC didn't have discounts in my student days either, and that was only 92-95. Oh shit, that was 10 years ago. Aaaagh.
