Would be a great signing. Just what we need - I'd rather have one of him than 2 or 3 unknown kids.

Good choice there by the manager (!!!)

I'll file this one under highly unlikely for now...

At a guess, it's probably an article trying to generate some excitement amongst the fans.  Unless he's prepared to halve his wages, I don't imagine we're in a position to make an exception for one player?

Its just to say we have been looking at quality players to get the fanbase excited before the impending announcement of Cooper as manager.

Judging early messages, it's been a pointless exercise. Not as bad as the three Brentford players though, nobody bought into that!

:)

Seem like the clever Town fans have seen through this ruse to rustle up some excitement.

Player seemingly out of favour at Charlton and did well on loan here but at 5k a week would have to take a massive pay cut. If he signs, will be very happy and add much needed experience.

Don't think it will mind,

next.

Did think he would be a good addition but just spotted a Wiltshire saddleback making its way serenely across the sky.

It's going to be Cooper isn't it?

I'd forgotten that. Where's Chang when you need him?

That was a bizarre story!

We seem to keep getting these names floated around that don't really feel like realistic targets (Eustace, the Brentford three), which is strange. The kind of thing you expect to hear when season tickets are up for renewal (this happens at all clubs, not slagging off JedCo here- Arsenal are one of the worst offenders!) rather than before we even have a manager sorted.

If we could get him even on loan though, Hollands would be a very good signing.

Have we used up our loan allocation yet?

One more.

I prefer season-long loans... as long as they are up for it.

yup, sorry - I thought Bartram was on loan

I imagine Mason will be one of the 2 remaining with possibly Obika the final piece

Is Mason with the squad at the moment? I know the spurs development squad is there as well, just didn't know if it had happened yet.

Its possible despite all rumour that they will not confirm any transfers till after manager appointment to make it all look a little better.

Think we've used all our long term ones but we have those extra short term ones that are up to three months right? Might be better than nothing.

We have 2 slots left, one of the loans can be classed as a youth loan due to age

There was talk that Mason could be classed as a youth loan so I guess if this is the case, we have one more slot to use?

Hang on a minute there is no quote or anything in this story to say that it has come from the club!

We have certain stories saying that the club won't talk to people for which the club rightly get hammered, then we have speculative stories which don't quote the club... where the club also now get hammered.

Either they are talking to the media or they are not, we cannot hammer them for both.

The max is 4 but Pritchard is young enough to be classed as a 'youth loan' so we can have one more.
