Title: What a shit weekend!! Post by: janaage on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, 08:25:49 Before I start on my rant, must say Friday was fucking brilliant!! Never been to a test before and it surpassed all expectations. Great to see the Aussies getting skittled out and it was also excellent to see Warney bowl Strauss, great bit of cricket! Especially as it didn't affect the result.
Anyway in summary this is why the weekend ('cusing the cricket) was shit. We lost 2-0, my girlfriends nan died whilst I was away - made me feel shit, not being there for her. Then the car needed fixing, and finally we found out some shit news about the house I'm about to buy. Do we go for it, or do we pull out and lose about £1,500?? |
