Whatever the circumstances of his departure, PDC has given me some of my best memories following Swindon.

What a great season we had last year, i'm sure other managers could have got us up, but none could have done it with such passion and excitement.

Thank you Paolo, and good luck in the future.

Would be nice if people concentrated on his achievements rather than the usual, now he's left he was shit, attitude that some always have.

I've been one of his biggest supporters and have often been accused of wanting to suck his cock.

But what an utter, utter tool. Resigning for something that is out of the hands of the club? At this stage of the season?

An enjoyable, occasional frustrating, rollercoaster from start to finish.  Lots of great memories, great performances that won't be forgotten.

He may well move onto bigger and better things and there is no reason we can't do the same.

Are you for real? He's had his best player sold behind his back, transfers blocked by the football league, has no idea who is in charge, hasn't spoken to the chairman for months.. He deserves much better than this shambles of a club.

It was nice to see some life and ambition put back into the club.

Main reasons why I decided not to renew my season ticket a few years back was the lack of those two things.

I fear they will both disappear with Paolo.

No point crying about it - he's gone and he is therefore by definition a cunt. There are a VERY select few to whom that doesn't apply and Paolo aint one.

Plus we still kept getting dicked by Oxford under his tenure

I remember hating Hoddle with a passion for quite some time after he left, and that, in the cold light of day, made absolute logical sense for any Manager!

Thanks Paolo, it was a bit of a holiday romance,  we both knew it wouldn't last, but it was fucking great fun while it did  :)

I was a bit ambivalent towards PdC TBH. Couldn't stand his press conferences, and recognised that he was being indulged in terms of being abler to sign as many players as he did. BUT, he brought back a team ethic and desire that had been missing for a while and was getting results. The test of how good a manager he really might be was always going to be "could he do it without the financial backing?" and that won't now be tested with us.

See you Paolo. Thatnks for getting us into a good situation, but it is for someone else to take us forward now.

I enjoyed watching him being given the bumps (being dropped) by the lads at Valley Parade last year.  I wish him the best, provided he goes to West Ham.  If he goes to Lids he can fuck right off, the terrible cunt.
