Genuinely a bit said about this one. Its another bit of my childhood gone, my late aunt had most of the good life on VHS and we invariably ended up watching an episode while round there. I guess that doesn't make too much sense to anyone but me.

Sad.  At least it wasnt Felicity Kendal.  She is sweetly pretty and I want to protect her.

I would fight the heavyweight champion of the world to protect Felicity Kendall.

Although too young to remember the Good Life other than repeats (which were great), I remember fondly his death on monarch of the glen. Classic bit of ridiculous writing that.

He was in some play or other on TV a few years ago to do with parental abuse and the character he played was a Town fan.

FACT!

Certainly does to me. I quite often dip into my collection of Richard Briers comedies - all classics. I recently watched the complete set of Ever Decreasing Circles.

Probably the saddest I've been when a celebrity died since Tommy Cooper passed away.

Me four.  I didn't realise he was as old as that tbh.  Are Felicity Kendall and Penelope Keith younger?

RIP.....when comedy was not controlled by the PC brigade.....it was funny.

Good actor and the Good Life was a show most people looked forward to.
