I watched Celebrity Poker on Saturday night, had to laugh when one of the celebrities went out straight away after putting all his money down, had a crap hand as well. That would be me if I played though which is why I don't.

i lost, only a tenner but it was me first go, and no i wasn't wanking don't think my mate would appreciate that in his lounge with everyone in there!

Been there and done that, it's a killer.

Everywhere I seem to look at the moment there is poker.  It's on nearly every 3rd channel and the papers and mags are ful of it.

someone explain the tournaments for me, i dont get what the different types are.

Tournaments range from a table of 5 each chucking in say $5 with the 1st and 2nd placed people scooping the pot.  Usually you get given a high amount of chips say 1k to play with and blinds increase every 5/7 minutes.

At the other scale you can say chuck in $20 with a few hundred playing and scoop mega bucks.

While your normal tables you are playing with chips equal to the same amount as the cash you have against other players

I usually hit the money but never quite hit the dizzy heights of where the real cash is.  A lot is down to luck and spotting those weak players to build up a big stack.

What's freeroll mean then?

Free to enter but usually only after you have played enough hands with cash in the last 24hrs to qualify.

Last 60, won $5!

Quite pleased really as fuck all cards and played the only couple of winning hands I was dealt.
