I'd rather go out and drink but I won't go to any of the pubs in the village and there's nowhere else locally. I'd have to drive and even then I don't really know anybody to go out with, so beer + music/films/cricket is the other alternative.

Know that feeling mid-week drinking for a while was just not an option and weekends meant a lengthy excursion.

Shite. Temp agencies aren't interested because I've got no office experience and there's permenant vacancies willing to take me on because I start college on the 6th of September. I'm going to have to live off the dole for a while.

I worked at FCUK in Chester at Uni, wasn't much cash but big discount, uniform from stock and a wicked social scene on the cheap.

Plus I got to work the ladies changing rooms.   8)

Just create some office experience outside of the local area most agencies won't check unless you list them as a reference.  If needs be I could always muster you up some past experience at the family firm an send you a reference.

That crossed my mind dave but I decided it'd be too harsh. I'm too nice.

Part-time's an option but there's very little around, students are home from Uni and kids have finished for the summer so my chances of finding anything are pretty slim.

I've not looked that much in all honesty, I was so utterly pissed off and demoralized at being sacked for nothing that I couldn't be arsed to do anything.

start a little business of some kind... sell talc to school kids s cocaine.

Fuck em man.  Just don't tell them your not starting college, they get their pound of flesh anyway having seen the cut they make off temps trust me they deserve it.

Add a bit of creative CV accounting and you'll be there.

If not just sell tat on ebay.  Easily clear a couple of hundred a week full time.

Fucking class day out.

Although it was tarnished by a dirty hangover and getting the wrong bus back.

Women are stunning although Temple Bar eats money for fun.

Temple Bar was crazy, went out on the Saturday night and every bar was rammed, managed to squeeze into a few though :D The women are outrageously good, ratio of at least 3 to 1 in favour of fitties :P

Didn't see much point in the top floor bar, wasn't that impressed with the views of Dublin :? Rest was excellent though. Sample the cuisine?

Nightmare to get in some of those bars.  Although it's made up by the bar staff who are different class.  Having been fully trained by an old Irish pro in the art of bar tending I was blown away by the service in some of those places.

Didn't pull sadly, not for want of trying.

Ended up in a back street casino one night which was quality.

How did you find the no-smoking rules?

As a smoker while out on the beers it was a blessing in disguise.  Couldn't get over how nice bars smelt and the atmosphere but going out for a tab cut right down and was prime pulling territory.

I don't smoke, neither do most of my mates, so that didn't matter too much. Know what you mean about the pub atmos, literally and metaphorically :D

Had the best scampi in a pub called the Bleeding Horse, which was close to where i stayed, it was bootiful :eat:
