Tea is the back bone of the greatest Empire the world has ever seen.

You are indeed patriotic magic.

A fine example of a British male thriving in his natural habitat.

Dont see magic 'consuming' any black coffee. http://67.18.37.16/525/186/emo/2xGay.gif Do you? no.

Coffee's for people who frequent the like's of St*rbucks - unless it's fairtrade, I'm quite a worldly chap you know

Tea is an English tradition, reminds me of visiting my grandparents in Little Somerford circa late 70's.

(Rich Tea don't dunk too well though, fuckers break to easily - nan, can I have a teaspoon)

Isn't chicken korma indian?

Nope. Korma was invented by curry houses over here when they first started up cos at the time English palates couldn't cope with proper curries (see the Goodness Gracious Me "bland" sketch for further background). Much like Chow Mein, which isn't Chinese but was invented by a Chinese restaurant in New York. I'm like a cross between Reg and Delia Smith, me.

Oh and strong black coffee is the only way I get through the day. And I'll fight anyone who wants to have a go about it. Not that the excess caffeine leaves me wired or anything.

I had sauage and chips from the chippy (had footy match so was late when got back-well after 8)

Today I start a new diet for two weeks:-

Jacket Potato, with cheese, beans and bacon bits with a salad on the side, meant to be healthy but not too sure??

Title: I AM A TRUE PATRIOT!
Post by: DanOUFC on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 10:13:31
The cheese is full of fat so leave that out. Beans are ok but have quite a lot of salt. Get yourself some low fat bacon don't drench your potatoes in butter and you should be ok!

I thought korma was indian. But Chicken Tikka massala was invented in Bradford in the 60's and the first ones were served by restaurants over here using heinz baked bean sauce.

Wait for it..........

Oooh, actually you might be right. Maybe I've mixed up me kormas and massalas. Or maybe they were both invented over here. Who knows? I'm getting worried now about the whole Indian restaurant thing - anyone been to India? Do they actually eat curries at all or are they all just sitting down tucking into pie and chips and laughing their tits off at us thinking they eat kormas?
