Title: Di Canio's first steps for the Derby!! Post by: kerry red on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 15:42:23 Just named my new greyhound pup today - Call DiCanio.
He is 13 months old and will probably be ready to race in 3 months time. Fingers crossed he's a good 'un! Title: Re: Di Canio's first steps for the Derby!! Post by: thedarkprince on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 16:30:09 Does he (allegedly) hate all other dogs that are not the same colour?

He is, in fact, black himself. I took him to the track for the first time today, just for a look round to get him used to the surroundings. He told me as long as my aspirations were in tune with his and that I was willing to put my hand in my pocket weekly for the best grub he would teach me how to lick my own bollocks Title: Re: Di Canio's first steps for the Derby!! I used to love Greyhound racing...more than the horses, remember going to Wembley to watch the dogs years back....ad 5 dog racing at Portsmouth and Nottingham. Flapping at Warwick would also bring out the characters. A serious question Kerry.....at this young age will you know if he is a wide runner or a sprinter or long dog specialist......or does that all come apparant with the first trials he does? I know nothing at the moment. He's only had a couple of gallops and not been on a track yet. I used to flap at Warwick late 90s - great fun Title: Re: Di Canio's first steps for the Derby!!
