The evening started when I stumbled across the pair in Wetherspoons living the dream, And Si Pie gave me a message to bring to all you Tefers

The beer was flowing and songs were sung, We were outside enjoying the beautiful weather when Jayo and myself saw Si Pie being politely removed from the wonderful establishment that is Devizes wetherspoons... Out the back gate only to be found "Propping up a bin"

I've left the two of them with a lift found back to SN1, Si Pie couldn't handle SN10! I have a few videos which include Simon eating a Swindon scarf and bursting out into random song, but I'm also a tad drunk so will save that until the morning , until then heres a little teaser..

Seeing as this seems to be the pissed people's thread...anyone else a little surprised (as I am) at how readily a lot of Oxford fans seem to have thrown the towel in? Not a good day for them, admittedly - but all they need is for Aldershot (who, as we know, are no pushovers) to do them a favour vs Crewe next weekend...and they could easily get the 7th place finish they need.

Have a quick read of their forum though - it's a blood bath.  No unity, just when they need it most.  For their sake, their players had better have a little more backbone than their fans.

I don't know how I got so fucked. I've just seen a rather attractive lady out of my door who I sincerely hope to see again (thank you Kings Arms) but I'm still absolutely shitted. I only know her name from when she called a cab. She's left her jewellery as well, which I'm sure is intentional. :)

My nephe is due to play at the cg this afternoon but has not been told it has been cancelled yet.I assume it is yeah? Or is it just this mornings that have bee cancelled so far

Just the U7s so far, they were hoping to take a view on the U8s later on in the morning, see if the weather improved, that's what we were told. I wouldn't get your hopes up, it doesn't look like getting that much better

We were U8 due to play at 2pm. Not sure if there are other age groups that are affected.

The call came at 7:50am to say it was off. Thanks for the early call (not)!

We had to meet at 8.15 so set the alarm for 6.45, only to be told at 7.45 it was off. Not sure which is worse tbh.

Haha we all had a right blast in Devizes last night. Was a little different to your average night in Town or Old Town. Surprisingly my head isn't too bad this morning.

I wouldn't worry too much - I may have been repeating Chinese whispers anyway as wasn't paying too much attnetion to what was said about the u8s and even if the message was correct, the weather's not going to get any better by 2

Just had the email, re-arranged for Saturday 12th May, same times as today. But I think there is a Chippenham tournament on Sat/Sun that weekend too.

I ended up in the Royal Oak. Ska band playing and lots of very drunk Swindon fans leaping about like loons with very few clothes on! Was a cracking night ended by dancing in the street outside the pub with all the other smokers, most bizarre evening!

I am definitely still drunk. Went out in Bristol, not quite sure the locals appreciated renditions of Wise Men Say as much as I did.

Good work all. I drank too much wine and fell asleep watching MotD.

I got to meet Ginghino in the Glue Pot yesterday....he wasnt as Ginger as i thought he would be.

Cheers Batch.  I haven't heard from our manager yet, so that gives us a bit more warning.  Luckily it falls before we go on holiday and Abbey Meads hadn't entered a tournament in Chippenham.  The next one we're due to play in is at Highworth in June, but we're on on holiday.

Same as me.  Although I did feel a bit peeved at 9.00pm last night when I was stuck indoors due to lack of foresight in organising a babysitter.  Sounds as if some of the TEF members had our share anyway!

Well I woke up with a stinking headache this morning, only problem is I didn't drink anything last night.

In fact the only one of us to have anything to drink to celebrate was our 16yr old son :)

It was his first trophy as a Town fan :D

I didn't drink because I have so much work to do.

Ironically, I had a sleepless night last night and I therefore feel like crap. I've had an unproductive day and would have probably got more done if I had a drink to ensure a good night's sleep.

The moral of the story is obviously to drink as much as humanly possible at any given opportunity. 

Same for me. I've got 2 exams on Tuesday so I've been revising like mad the last few days. Still a great day yesterday though, even without an alcohol induced haze of delirium.

I think it was doomed from the moment we hit the Sir Dans at 11.30, me and Jayo straight on the Jagers. Good to meet Mr Will Sugg who joined us for a few cheeky pre-game drinks. And then the delight of hitting sir dans after with Mr Tanswell for more Jager. Im glad I bottled Devizes with the others, cos when I got in I was yamming up a goodun. Great day though :)
