This is something that's been irking me for far too long.
Why on earth would you as a Swindon Fan go out of your way to give your own players grief by berating
them on Twitter?
I'm sick of these johnnie big bollox types who do this and claim to be a supporter.
There's no place for it and seeing as how these "fans" have profile pictures I sincerely hope the players or club can pick them out
at a game in the future and call them on their behaviour.

People talk about our players
letting us down these past few weeks, I'm more appalled with
some of the Swindon fans on social networks with no social skills.
Foderingham, Ferry and Flint have taken the brunt of it this past week.

There is an arguement of course to say the players should not be on there at all.

The players should not go on twitter imo.
But cretin fans are there in the grounds too.

I'm sure some of them are not Town fans at all.  In a similar vein, it's pretty obvious that some of the texts read out on BBC Radio Wiltshire after match commentaries are rival fans on a wind up.  The internet allows anonymity.

And you can console yourself with the thought that it's not just us with idiot fans.

Part of me Agrees there Arriba but i just think how great it must be as a younger supporter to connect with the players a bit more, it's just a shame they use it in the wrong way. Trust me the Twitter one's are Swindon fans.

As i said it's just something that i think could be stamped out by a Swindon Profile keeping an eye on the players RT's when they get something wrong.
An email from the club of some sort I'm sure would make them think twice before doing it again.

Like Ardiles says i am sure that not all of them are Swindon fans, they just pretend to be.

I signed up to twitter a few days ago because my brother told me it was a good way to get club news.  I follow 5 people, all STFC related and have yet to 'tweet'.  I'm not sure I ever will.

I have a good laugh on Twitter with Town fans, theres alot of decent ones on there, outweighs the nobs. Even have a bit of banter with Pox fans.  :-[

SSWS has just re tweeted something about rumours on FB an twitter .... What in gods name is he on about?  I only just signed up to Twitter and cant find owt .... Mainly as I have no idea how it works ....

Basically seems that everyone on twitter & the facebook fans group is going on about a bust up and training yesterday and supposedly Paolo storming out.

Obvious the normal bollocks, but seems quite a few people were tweeting about it.

However looking back it seems more people were doing what I had done and tweeting about seeing different things on twitter, rather than the rumours themselfs...

Interesting rumour. Even if its true its something that happens, its something else Paolo will have to deal with at whichever club he ends up at.

I always thought 'bust ups' are something that sometimes happens every now and then on the training ground, and thats not unusual.
What worries me is PdC's reaction to these, unpredictable.

Indeed. Heard from a fairly reliable source last year for example McGovern and someone had a set to. Yet it was all over a few days later.

PDC mood swings are always unpredictable. Not always a good thing, but he'll do what he wants as the song goes. Past worrying about it now.

Given the last week it was inevitable that such rumours would circulate during the build-up to what is now our biggest game of the season (and I genuinely think it is).

Players want to win trophies and my hope is that this fact alone will see us over the line.

It's a "Must Not Lose" game on saturday.

 :D It should be like a cup final. The players know they will lift a trophy at the end of the game if they win.

Don't tell them that for goodness sake (given our last two trophy performances).

It hasn't been confirmed, but as we're the only ones who can win the title that day it makes sense.

I'm sure that the FL prefer to present the trophy at the teams home ground rather than wait for the last game of the season (assuming it is settled)
