It appears he does what he wants.

Suspension or injury?

That's a massive blow for the Pox unless they sign someone half handy before our game.

Shoulder injury according to their website.  Personally I think it's a mask and their preparing themselves for Leven to be loaned out to us until the end of the season  :D

Fuck me, they're going into meltdown again over there with the rumour Leven isn't injured but joining us on loan with view to permanent move.

For obvious reasons, keeping it quiet for the time being

Now we just need to win the toss! Apparently they have a real problem attacking the fence end in the second half. Even with a full house for their cup final, they'll bottle it!

Can see us knocking a couple in second half towards the Oxford Mail (East) stand just to rub it in!!   :D

I hope that Rooney scores and runs in front of the Oxford Mail stand cupping his ear.

With the crosses we had going in 2nd half on Tuesday this is highly probable.

Playing him unfit when one of your biggest games is coming up is odd.

I suppose they were hoping that he could play on for a little longer.

I would take this with a pinch of salt....could be the classic Fergie trick

Is Leven that good? So good they want Town to think he's not playing?

Certainly seems odd to announce it so far in advance of the game. If it were me I'd keep the opposition guessing.

Fair enough.

PDC, kindly prepare for the scenario of Leven playing.

If this is a dirty trick then surely a sign of them running scared?

Given that Kerrouche is training up there every day, it is fair for us to assume that Paolo et al will know precisely the likelihood of this Leven character playing, not to mention what they are working on etc.

Money well spent by Oxford's 12th Man fund, in fact I couldn't have spent it better myself.

Perhaps we should do likewise, something like the following should do it....

'Swindon Town have announced Wes Foderingham, Paul Caddis, Simon Ferry, Alan McCormack, Oliver Risser, Luke Rooney, Paul Benson, Alan Connell, Ronan Murray, Callum Kennedy, A Cibocchi, Lee Cox, Billy Bodin and Matt Ritchie are all likely to miss Saturday's derby on Saturday'

Who's this Adam Rooney?

Title: Re: Peter Leven
Post by: janaage on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 21:22:00
Think I know an Adam Rooney, or is there another footballer called Adam Rooney? Not sure.

To be honest it doesn't take a hell of a lot to work out I meant Luke though does it? The surname's a pretty good clue.

adam rooney plays for birmingham now, having played in nonleague/scotland for a few years

We'd still win. P Smith, Boateng, Devera, Thompson, J Smith, Esejas (is he still around?), De Vita, a few of the kids, and Paolo up front. Sorted.

Esajas - living proof that it really is pointless to read anything into pre-season.

Title: Re: Peter Leven

I see some mong on their forum is wondering why they have announced Leven is out so early as it will allow us to change the tactics as he is so brilliant and we are so scared of him.

It's slipped his tiny brain that we play with two shit hot wingers who deliver loads of crosses and have the best goalie and defence iin this league, no to mention the fittest squad! Why change anything?

Not fucking rocket science is it?

I'm scared of him, jiggle the letters in his name around, and  it's telling me he's a teen perve. Someone should call the police quickly.
