Title: unleaded vs super unleaded Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, 19:16:23 its all to do with the octane, super unleaded has a higher octane content which improves performance in turbo engines and shit like that.

Title: unleaded vs super unleaded Post by: Compo on Thursday, July 21, 2005, 00:53:30 Boring i know but all modern cars run on 95 RON, its a pollution thing, but u get better bang per buck on old 97/98 RON, if ur car is a european motor less than 10 years ( most eurobox regulated cars are) old dont even bother with RON 97/98. If ur car is an import (jap is best) higher the fuel octane level (RON level) the more u will get from ur engine, it kinda works out at 20 per cent more performance if u can run a higher ( 97/98 ) ron............ hope that helped.

High RON (Research Octane Number) means improved acceleration and MPG. Normal unleaded is 95 RON, Most Super Unleaded are 98 RON, Japanese cars run on 100+ RON fuel. |
