Title: DW Fitness (gym) Post by: hobodan on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 13:31:03 Thinking about joining this as its a stones throw from my house... Anyone have experience of this place? What's it like?
Cheers Title: Re: DW Fitness (gym) Post by: SuggWillSugg MBE on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 13:34:23 As I used to work there I got it for free,
It was decent, Pool is nice. However I personally prefer a smaller gym, so wasn't the biggest fan. Unless you do loads of classes and use all the facilities I think it's overpriced. Members get 10% off in the shops too, or they did when I worked there. Title: Re: DW Fitness (gym) Post by: guy66 on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 14:10:28 I was a member of JJB which then became DW in Burton on Trent, it went down hill really fast and the hygene was terrible. I ended up getting verucas and some pretty vile skin infections which was put down to the state of the changing room floors.
DW can't take all the blame as there was an infux of memebers who had really appalling standards and used to spit etc in the pool but the staff didnt want to upset the eastern europeans by telling them... Had a quick look around & it's seems like a reasonable place, nice equipment etc. Just hope it doesn't get stupidly busy
