Title: When buying a laptop..
Post by: pericarp on Friday, January 6, 2012, 12:23:41
What do I look for?

All I know is that:

A higher ram is good
A larger hard disk is good
Screen size depends on the buyer
A nice design is good

But what about the processor?

Dual core is good
Higher the gHz is good

What do I look for exactly? What are the good processors out there currently?

I just want a good laptop, that runs smoothly (not like my current dell piece of tw@t) and can play the latest games (not at the highest graphics)

Thank you  :D

If you can have a go on the keyboard before you buy.  A lot is down to personal preference but I've used some laptops that have awful keyboards.

Agree with you completely on that one.
Are refurbished laptops good as new? Provided that I buy from PC World/Curry's etc?
