Was after a bit of TEF wisdom if possible. Signed a 12 month tenancy contract last week, move out this weekend - we had a call from the estate agents yesterday to say that some of the furniture (namely, bed & sofa) were not going to be provided - the agreement signed, and their original advertisment, includes both of these. Said this wasn't on but they said the landlord has made the decision and tough luck. Any thoughts on the best way to tackle this? Tempted to complain like hell as its a big inconvinience, and of course cost, especially at such short notice. Various things like this happened in my uni days but frankly I never gave a shit as a layabout student so all new to me. Generally I've found with estate agents that they'll try anything so you need to complain as loudly as possible. One of my flatmate's fathers walked in, sat on their managers desk and said he wasn't going to move until they refunded her rent.

All furnished properties will have an inventory listing all items within the flat. Don't deal with Estate Agents myself as quite frankly some can be robbing bast???s.
